1. The Tomb of Abdul Wahab Khan

Timing : The Tomb of Abdul Wahab Khan in Kurnool is open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

2. Konda Reddy Fort

Konda Reddy Fort, also known as Kondareddy Buruju, is a prominent historical landmark situated in the heart of Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. Constructed between 1530 and 1542 by Achyuta Devaraya of the Vijayanagara Empire, the fort served as a strategic military outpost and played a significant role in the region’s defense and governance . The fort is named after Konda Reddy, the last ruler of Alampur, who was imprisoned here in the 17th century by the Kurnool Nawab. Legend has it that Konda Reddy attempted to escape through a 25-kilometer-long underground tunnel that connected the fort to Alampur across the River Tungabhadra .

Timing : Open daily from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM

3. Sri Jagajjanani Temple

4. The Orvakal Rock Garden

Location : Situated along National Highway 40 (NH-40), near Orvakal village, Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh.

5. Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt

The Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt in Mantralayam, located in the Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh, is a revered center of the Dvaita Vedanta tradition. Established by Sri Madhvacharya and later led by Sri Raghavendra Swamy from 1624 to 1671, the mutt serves as a spiritual hub for devotees seeking blessings and guidance.

  • Morning Darshan: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Famous Food In Kurnool

1. Rayalaseema Biryani
